How do Improvisers create so many different characters on stage during a show?
We are going to teach you. Learn the tools to create a wide variety of characters and embody them fully through exercises inspired by the movement work of Rudolf Laban.
We will go through the different movements and use them to create characters quickly and easily who are more than just a voice or a catchphrase, but a fleshed out individual who moves and talks in a pattern that is easily created and brought back.
This is a class for anyone who wants to play in character. Actors wanting to be able to embody more characters in a deeper way, Improvisers wanting to add variety and depth to the characters they create in shows, Role Players wanting to be able to more fully become their character or multiple characters, those who like to pretend and play as different people.
We will teach you the Improv tools to be able to step into the role of dozens of characters and the skills to give them life.
