The Ghost in the Machine: The Power of the Unseen Ensemble
Mar 14 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Are you tired of “waiting for your turn” to enter a scene? In the most electric improv sets in the world right now, the most important character isn’t the one speaking—it’s the one standing three feet behind them. The Ghost in the Machine is a high-intensity, advanced masterclass designed to transform the backline from a “waiting room” into a living, breathing engine of atmosphere and support.

This workshop deconstructs the traditional boundaries between the stage and the wings. You will learn to manipulate the “vibe” of a scene without uttering a single word, using Atmospheric Mirroring and Environmental Walk-ons to turn a simple two-person scene into a cinematic experience. We’re moving past the “polite walk-on” and into the world of Organic Support, where you become the wind, the tension, the ticking clock, and the unspoken subtext that makes a scene unforgettable.
